10,000+ SF HOMES

SKYLINE HOMES

Rosecroft

10,130 SF

This home is mostly rambler. There is a sewing room above the garage. The basement is very large. I wandered around in it a bit, looking for the stairs to get up and out!

There is also lovely stained glass throughout the house.

Beautiful front doors with artistic stained glass.

The dining room and office are at the front of the house. So, the arched stained glass windows, along with the front doors, give the home a cohesive, planned feel.

This master bathroom has his and hers vanities. A great way to start the day, giving each other elbow room! Notice the curved embellishments on the backsplash. A simple and elegant upgrade. And another stained glass window, giving this home a unique feel.

Large light fixtures in a row, in this butler pantry, make a statement.

This is the sewing room above the garage. They remembered to place electrical outlets in strategic areas.

E BUILDERS LUXURY HOMES

Maison Claire

10,490 SF

This home looks like a 2 story home. It does have bedrooms above the garage. The main part of the house is a rambler, with very high ceilings.

The grand entryway with 2 story high ceilings.

I love the railing on the top bunks. This is a cozy room for playing Go Fish before climbing into bed and falling asleep in front of a movie.

Shelving around the walls. A pretty and useful upgrade. Make the shelving higher and deeper, and you have a great place for books.

Another beautiful bathroom with a custom-cut backsplash. This is a soothing color combination, with the gold bringing in warmth.

An elegant chandelier for a powder room. A fun finishing touch.

This quatrefoil tile is beautiful. And the color reads as a neutral, so the design can be the focal point. Very lovely.

These dormer window seats are on the second floor, above the garage. Usually, I would say don’t do built-in benches because it limits your use of the space. This home is big enough and has plenty of space for everything. I love how cozy these window seats look. This room has all the requirements to be a fun retreat for anyone.

If you are going to put in gables, make them real and useable!

And a wonderful backyard! I love the slide and the fountains in the pool.

HOME SWEET HOME BY MITCH

The Gathering Place

10,890 SF

As the name of this house states, this spacious home feels ready for parties!

This cheery front porch has a welcoming design and is ready for your personal decorating touch.

A unique grand staircase that sets this home apart from others.

An elegant chandelier in the bathroom.

MOUNTAIN RIDGE CUSTOM HOMES & DESIGN

Rustic Modern Mansion

11,500 SF

A fun way to greet people that come to your door!

A chandelier that makes a statement!

Creative lighting in the master bathroom.

And more unique lighting in the kitchen.

There was warm wood molding around all of the windows.

R. C. DENT CONSTRUCTION

York Manor

12,082 SF

This home has everything! It has a practical and functional floor plan, making good use of the space on all 3 levels. And the attention to detail is thoughtful and creative. This home blends Old World and Modern very well. It’s a beautiful home, great for families and for entertaining.

I love the front door!

Two spacious islands! And the butler pantry can be accessed from both ends of the kitchen. A functional and beautiful dream kitchen.

And I love the arched entryways, which are throughout the entire house.

A beautiful built-in hutch.

A backyard for family time and for parties. Great for having fun, and it still works for eating breakfast outside and relaxing in the evening.

J CHRISTOPHER GENERAL CONTRACTING

Avonlea Manor

14,480 SF

Another favorite, this beautiful home has lovely features and charming attention to detail.

A gorgeous front porch with cut rock and a custom front door.

This is my favorite part of the house. The piano room opens into the main family room. The piano remains safely tucked away but is still easily accessed for impromptu performances and Christmas carol sing-alongs. And it is in a raised room, which becomes a stage for family recitals.

Add in pocket doors or French doors, and the piano room becomes a practice room!

This kitchen has a soothing color palette, which keeps this space feeling uncluttered and elegant.

A pretty stained glass window in the butler pantry.

Thoughtful attention to detail in this bathroom.

A charming window seat in the attic above the garage. Add character to your home by incorporating gables.

A fun swimming pool doesn’t have to be huge! I love this backyard.

HOYAL CONSTRUCTION, INC.

The Legacy At Meadow Ridge

19,179 SF

This home is so interesting. It is built on a corner lot, and the home is bow shaped. So, the architectural design of the home follows the shape of the lot.

Beautiful light fixtures throughout this house.

A charming and functional craft room.

Such a fun bunk room!

This theatre room is the way theatre rooms should be. Three different levels ensure that everyone will be able to see the screen. And there’s room for 18 people!

This house has its own green house! What a great idea.

I love this backyard and the swimming pool deck.

These homes have so much to love. Find your design style, and find ways to incorporate these ideas into your home.

Marilee
