for C Instrument with Keyboard Accompaniment
by Johann Pachelbel

CANON IN D MAJOR
This piece is perfect for a bride walking down the aisle, a ring ceremony, background music for a thoughtful reading or speech, anniversary celebrations, and any needs for a special, solemn event. It is written in eight measure phrases, so it can be cut and tailored to specific time needs.
C INSTRUMENT SOLO PART
Choose the sections that you want and the length that you need, and tailor this for your special events. This canon is especially beautiful on the flute or violin. It can also be played as a piano/keyboard duet.

PIANO/KEYBOARD ACCOMPANIMENT PART
There are three different versions here. Choose which part works best for your specific needs. You can also incorporate all three versions. Coordinate this with the solo part, playing as many measures as the soloist is doing. This accompaniment part is beautiful on the piano. It also works well with a keyboard, if your venue is small and you need an instrument that doesn’t take up as much space as a piano. Or, if the event is outdoors, and you need something that can easily be moved, etc. The accompaniment part can also be played by a cello, string bass, or guitar.
